Columnas

Wooden sculptures sculpted through angles between cut and perspective where volumes arise in bodies that are delimited between pure lines and contrast in black ink. After completing the series of 10 pieces I found a piece of poetry by the Mexican writer Octavio Paz that gives meaning to the concept I was looking for in the materiality of the sculptures.

the columns wake up
and, without moving, they dance.
